There needs to be a better measure of blackness.
Wade Graham didn’t know he was part aboriginal till 3 years ago, he’s white so why would he.
Just can’t understand how someone 1/16 is aboriginal and he’s ‘indigenous’.
There’s been players who are even blue eyes and blonde!! Sandor earl qualifies. Cmon he is typical European beauty.
It’s unfair on the real black guys.
I think these guys want their cake and to eat it too.
Btw Tallis was half Tongan not aboriginal.

aboriginal people don't have magical powers like the media suggests, they are regular guys but they just have some extra time to run around playing football because they don't have grand theft auto 5 yet in most cases

i hate this well tried notion that aboriginal players are natural talents playing on instinct and the implication is that they didn't work hard to get to that level or aren't smart enough to learn complicated gameplans or structure, the commentators mean it as a compliment but it sounds like something from national geographic channel, "look at how the aboriginal player uses his instincts and is able to run and pass the ball"

I disagree.
They are naturally fast runners genetically and from what I can see they all share the same base trait of being light on their feet and have good footwork off the back off it. At least in their early to mid twenties. Age 30+ isn’t good to them most of the time.

no i diagree with your disagreement, smaller people usually are agile light on their feet and have good footwork off the back of it, the aboriginal players you are thinking of were smaller guys like bowen, thurston, barba

this is no different than alan langer, geoff toovey, paul green, polla mounter, benji marshall and steve roach

plenty of white guys like phil blake and sherwin have produced the magic and most of the aboriginal players had to work hard and be smart

btw mal meninga should be included in everyones team, certainly ahead of hodges

edit: wtf meninga is not aboriginal, i have been going through my life assuming he was, this is like finding out santa claus isnt white
