Heavy rain expected for 48 hours, up to and including the game.

This is going to greatley nullify the backline and halves impact from both teams and make this a pure low scoring grind..

I can smell the upset, and the chaos of sydney with dogs winning in a similar scoreline to saturday night..

DOGGIES ARE YOU READY READY?

I think this well help us, our forwards can dominate and slow the game down like melbourne did.

can confirm that Des will be saying "hold the f&@king ball"

But we can't hold the ball in the dry
Wet weather footy is all about holding the ball
Getting through your sets
Maintaining good field position
All areas we constantly struggle with
What makes you guys so sure a wet game will benefit us over the chooks

That weather forecast does not look good for your stuffed bulldog

Agree 100% Skippy. We completed 28 from 38 in our game vs St George, not great. The roosters completed 30 from 34. The week before we were even worse 25/37.

game against warriors was wet and we got found out back then , so not really too confident about the grind.

one thing it will do is almost nullify RTS somewhat.

stop it. "dogs of war" should be banned when referencing the current side

Better pack the poncho!!
You betcha because from memory the roof coverage is not real good and it sometimes is prone to a bit of leaking. Been taking the poncho all year and have not needed it yet. Might ruffle a few chooks feathers.

Still a bit amazed with all the sad heads and people bagging players around the joint. We are still alive in the finals FFS. Won 6 in a row. 10 other teams are in the offseason. Coz we didnt smash a few teams you picked 13+ on, we are shit? We had to change the halves combo and hooker weeks out from the finals, which is disruptive, but we are still winning.

Wet weather wont suit Rona, Cook or BMoz. Jmoz to a degree but hes a better defender than BMoz so will go ok. Hard to call if we are benefited from the wet. I personally dont love wet weather games. Mistakes all over the place, runners cant run, steppers cant step.

Not great or an advantage. Wet track will get our big boys more fatigued.

What? Graham, Klemmer, Jackson, Tolman , Eastwood, Pritchard aren't dogs of war? Did you see the defensive effort on Saturday night.

If I recall correctly there was a stat mentioned during a game that the Bulldogs win a very high percentage of wet weather games.

The wet weather will suit Des's boring predictable keep taking it up the middle with no flair.
Matter of plugging it up the middle with a mighty kick on the end. Pin them in their twenty
and hope for a spilt ball.
Will probably suit Lafai, defence wise as he is not defending too good laterally at the moment.
Straight running with short passes and hold on to the bloody thing!

once upon a time i was confident in wet weather (mid-2000's), but with the lack of metres we make these days and the shitty kicks, not so much.

I think we have a better chance in the wet than the dry - telegraph says Frank going to fight the charge .
