On one of the other forums I read, they have threadmarks within a thread.

For example, they have a player performance thread and they have a drop down list (threadmark tagged by the mods) for when a game is played so you can easily navigate to posts that start from that threadmark

This is a threadmark BTW

Mod marks a page/post in a thread and title it something, so that users can pick it from a drop down menu and jump to that point in the thread
