We normally see a little boost from teams when the coach gets booted mid season, but our game plan has been so cooked fand our play style has been so boring for so long I just don't see anything happening this week either. Would be absolutely hilarious to see under 5 errors though.

They won't change much at the start. Can't just switch up the entire team and switch all positions without preparation. It'll be pretty much the same team with 2 or 3 changes, then we'll start preparing players for a full change.

Side note, I don't think JAC will ever play fullback. He's too dangerous in his current position. You don't weaken your strengths to strengthen your weaknesses.

very limited prep for a friday game and no coach. considering the lack of fitness and skills, i really think the players should be doing some sort of training. as far as we are aware, ferris and furner etc are still employed so they should be running drills to attempt to make us competitive this weekend

As much as I would like a lot of changes I agree with you. It would be madness to make huge changes in the first week. The best we can hope for is a few positional adjustments and some new reserves. There will be some commentators saying that teams usually have big games after the coach is sacked but not sure our team is up to it. Maybe Pangi Jnr plays more than 30 mins this week would be a big step forward in enthusiasm.

Dunno, I think moving JAC to fullback will be a way to get him closer to the action for when he takes over as Captain.
