The 2 co-mains will be awesome. I'm hoping Usman destroys big-mouth Masvidal and Volk dominates Holloway (still bewildered at how Holloway believed he won the first fight, he got owned). Should be great!

That moniker Gamebred makes me cringe every time I hear it. Surely he could've come up with something better? I think there'd be a few other fighters in the mix for BMF, not all in the same weight class though.

I thought Holloway won today, I scored it 3-2.

Have read a few people scored it that way. I didn't watch it but normally listen to the Bloody Elbow bloke score it, he is usually pretty spot on. He had Max winning 1 & 2 but Volk 3,4 & 5.
Glad Volk won regardless.

Having watched both fights live at the time, I thought Max lost the first fight quite comprehensively. But the second fight, it felt like Max won. He definitely had rounds 1 and 2, 3 and 5 were close but I also felt like Volko shot the TD's quite a bit late on because he hadn't had much success at all on the feet. And of course Max deserves credit for nullifying most of that.

Max won the 48-47 in my opinion. He should have the belt and we should be having a trilogy fight booked for the end of the year.

Yeah, thats what sucks most is that now it's 2-0 Volko, a trilogy will seem weird. Probably means a few more in-between fights for both before a third matchup, if that ever happens.

Yeah hes unreal.

Here in NZ we're a bit naive to the old drug taking, but there's something up with the gyno. If you think about it with the covid around it would be a perfect time to do a cycle lol. I'm sure the testing wouldn't be as stringent leading up to the fight as they usually are.

Most those guys jn the UFC are on the juice anyway lol.
