The scotch thread

Ok my merry malt mates. Lets discuss scotch.

First of all an announcement- they are discontinuing Johnnie Walker green label. Why should you give a damn? Because it is easily the best Johnnie and is affordable. A combination of 4 single malts and it is a pure malt blent.

Laphroaig single malt is also excellent (any variety).

Red Label is alright if I wanna nasty mix

Black Label is a good smoky sipper.

Can anyone else reccomend anything for dogslyfe to try? I have an unopened blue label here too.

Don't open the blue label, keep it for show lol.. Southern comfort is pretty nice, but I don't particularly like scotch

Even though i'm a scotch noob and i sometimes have to force myself to drink it (can be too strong on the tongue at times lol), i'm growing an appreciation for scotch. The following are my fav's
Macallan 12yr
Glenfiddich 12yr
Talisker 10yr

Glenfiddich 12 Year Old has the be the best scotch for the price. JW tastes like dirt compared to it.
