would help other teams like broncos warriors and a few others as wellIs that to help the panther’s?
But that’s not the right question, the more appropriate question would be “should other clubs receive Salary Cap discounts for players that they have developed“? Most would say Penrith already get “a discount” by paying their developed players less which means they can pay their imports more. When this masthead asked NRL coaches in our exclusive survey if their club should receive salary cap discounts for players they have developed, a whopping 93 per cent said yes.
They are paying the local players less because they are young and rookies . They have to pay them more to keep them, hence the player movement over the last couple years. They develop or recruit value they don’t pay overs. The joys of having a professional development program, hopefully we can replicate in the near future. But that’s not the right question, the more appropriate question would be “should other clubs receive Salary Cap discounts for players that they have developed“? That’s the effect of getting a discount for locals, they can pay other clubs’ players more. Solves nothing.

roosters have a lot of juniors so I doubt it,Fair bet to say Roosters were in the 7% that said no.
Like you say, you can have all the local juniors you want but when none of them are getting a game because you just rape other clubs' carcasses for players then it doesn't really count for diddly squat.roosters have a lot of juniors so I doubt it,
we never get to see them cause the fraud coach never wants to play them or buys elite players in every position
