Don't mind the shakeup. We had no chance under the former schedule, if they throw a few things around it might just give us a chance.. e.g. we get a good conference, a couple of teams don't adapt to well etc.

I wouldn't mind a conference, certainly be different plus I'd rather watch a local derby

I can't wait to see the footy back on, regardless of the format, conferences, best of 3 grand final, just get it back on.
Who ever wins, they'll always have an asterisk next to the title anyway.

This will be like the Broncos premiership of 1997. Nobody cares...

I've been saying a conference system set up for about a decade now so I don't need convincing. I would have everyone play twice though (home and away) as it's the ONLY fair way to play a comp. Who cares how long it goes towards x-mas, the players are well rested and I'm sure the fans won't argue. It's not that hard really. Greenturd has to go first though.

The current global situation means there shouldn't be any footy tbh. Not until we are in a much better position anyway, but that probably means bugger all time left. Why have a farcical season just to have some footy?
Because the Nrl will be dead and buried if they dont play this year.
Its in the contracts with fox and channel 9.
No play no pay!!

Does it really matter if the NRL dies? Rugby League won't, maybe a more competent competition will rise from the NRL ashes.

If we can summon the ghost of the 98 finals we might have a chance.

It's only april still early days. All we need is 3 months of season proper then a month for finals.
So if we get going by August we sweet
