Will be in Manchester for the Manchester Derby next week, and was lucky to get tickets to the match, will try to get a few action shots of the crowd and hopefully a few goals too.
Our boys have really kicked on this year, the improvements have been great to see. However I still have reservations about a few players. When Luke Shaw is on form he is easily a top 3 left back in Europe, both in attack and defense. And his good patches usually last a season which is what allows him to get into those conversations. But when he is bad, he can stink up the joint. But lets see if he can sustain it this time considering we are playing a system that really favours him. He is approaching 10 years at the club as of this year.
The same goes for Rashford, we need Rashford to sustain this type of form for a prolonged period of time. Im willing to give him the benefit of the doubt purely because his down period came over a fractured back and fractured shoulder injury. He did have 22 goals and 14 assists in all comps in the year before that injury. But at 25 now, its time to kick on.
Im expecting Maguire, Van de Beek, Elanga and Pellistri to depart at the end of the season which should bring in some decent cash and allow us to bring in a big time midfielder like Bellingham or a young striker.
