i know people don't like him, but i think lucas has become a pretty important piece in the puzzle for liverpool. pretty much like a mikel for chelsea, does his job and does it well. like his cleaning up and picking up from the back four, distribution is decent and is technically good. id like to see gerrard start next match with lucas and adam if thats possible with your formation + downing. poor performance overall though against a 10 men everton side without any strike power what so ever

Martin Atkinson is a moron. Great tackle from Rodwell

Suarez is a mug

Tim Howard <3
I agree it was a great tackle...

And if any Liverpool fan think we were convincing against to ****in wake up and accept that we are not playing well as if we play exactly like this against Utd they will demolish us on the field and on the score board

Sure Carroll scored finally but he should never start against Utd and neither should Adam

Liverpool is certainly not where they want to be, but I don't think that Suarez has much to do about that! Suarez is a great player but is not a provider he is a goal scorer and needs a provider playing near him.. I think we need a specialist winger and creative midfielder and you start with Suarez or Caroll not both. And as for the dive above that is part and parcel in world football it's called milking not everyone likes it but when it leads to a penalty, goal or sending off etc everyone likes it... And it teaches the Everton Player not to slide tackle ;) he was lucky cause if that connected he would be in deep shyte..

Good tackle by Rodwell I thought, was genuinely shocked when Atkinson pulled out the red. They could probably get it downgraded to a yellow on appeal.

Mesk has it in for suarez cos I was right about him. The bloke is all class. Got the goal of the week in the premier leage last week against wolves. scored again this week. Yes there was a bit of fortune, but the guy always seems to be in the right place and at the right time. The guy's just an excellent player, who'd be in any side in the Premiership.

Liverpool facilities almost up to the standard of an A-League club.

Don't worry Liverpool fans. After Kewell unfavourably compared you to an A League team, I'm sure Robbie Fowler would rank you as being better than the North Queensland Fury.

****************************************

Kewell rates Melbourne Victory's training facilities and methods "second to none", and believes they - and the talent of the players around him - are so good the club is guaranteed to be a bona fide A-League contender this season.

"It's second to none really ... I can't believe the kind of set-up that's here," Kewell told the Victory's season launch at Etihad Stadium on Thursday.

"I've been at Galatasaray - the biggest club in Turkey - and it ain't a patch on what you've got here.

"Liverpool is one of the biggest clubs in the world. Yes, their set-up is good, but not as good."

Geez our sub-standard training facilities has won us some trophies in the last 10 years, and more then what you spurs have won in the last 30 years.

Keep on trolling...

Now come on that is just below the belt... Not to worry I am hoping that this season will signify a return to European football and if it is going to be at the expense of anyone chances are it is gonna be at the expense of Arsenal. Can't see Man U/City/Chelsea dropping out of the 4
