Klopp needs reinforcements, it was obvious from last season.

VVD is the key, if he comes back strong Liverpool will be back. Until then I'm clocking off of the EPL. It's pretty much over and the line ups that Klopp is forced to put out is becoming a joke. He hasn't backed properly in the transfer market since winning the title & UCL.

When the world's best defender is missing it was always going to be a huge challenge. We also need to find another Suarez, a true world class striker because Firmino is not good enough.

Club bought Jota to cover for front three. Was best at club and one of the best in EPL until injured.

Club bought Thiago. Best midfielder in his position in Europe. He got COVID and was injured for long-term

Club bought Tsimak.. as cover for LB. Issues with COVID and injuries.

Club risked it on CB and got badly burnt on the risk. Impossible to foresee that we'd lose 3 CBs tho. No club has experienced that.

Don't think it's so much about needing reinforcements, but more incredibly bad lick with injuries. In saying that I do expect is to clean out a number of these fringe players who didn't step up eg ox, Origi,

Stop blaming injury’s
Your lost so many points to the bottom teams, you 2nd team should beat them
You had 3 players missing from your top team against city
They had 2-3 missing from their top team

4-1

How long you guna blame injury’s, you just signed 2 CB but never played them, stuck with the same shit that hasn’t been working

Blame klopp and the players
Your still got 8-9 from your top 11 on the field
Should be winning most games with that

Lol turn it up, our injury list is ridiculous. Who cares if players are "available"...they're not fully match fit. Yes there are other issues like you mentioned but stop downplaying out injuries because they're making things way harder.

Not available
They actually played
Go thru that starting side that played against city, 2 players missing From your best 11

Same for city

lol come on mate Matip & Gomez are made of glass seen it for multiple seasons now if Klopp thinks he can rely on those two staying fit he is a fool. VVD carries the central defense, and VVD was the one holding it together for 2 consecutive seasons + Lovren had 1 really good year. With him out it exposed the other frauds at the back. It's gone back to how it was before VVD an absolute mess at the back.

VVD, Gomez, Matip, Keita and Jota all potentially start that game, so that's 5 or 4 if you only include 2 centre backs. There's no point isolating a single game, the numerous amounts of injuries and the regularity of them contribute to the continual downfall. City lost there CB's and dropped almost 20 points last season despite them having an absolutely stacked squad.

Injuries, players out of form, poor tactical decisions, etc. It's not one thing, they all contribute. But injuries are defenitely a major factor and no where near a non factor like you're making out.

And seriously, Kabak and Davies were going to play? They had 1 session and they're going to start against the League leaders? LOL.

There is plenty of deadwood in the squad that needs to be shipped out if we want a sustained era of dominance. Klopp needs to show some balls and demand a budget in the summer and get the deadwood out asap before a rot sets in.

Mate. We agree to disagree on this. If the tables were turned you'd be saying the same thing.

It's not making excuses but staying facts. To judge our season we need to put together all factors.

Klopp and players should've done better. They know this. But all factors need to be taken into consideration.

You're not going to change your mind. Respect that. But I'm not going to clog this thread with back and forth between us.

Let's leave it at that

Bullshit
So 3 CB start do they, dropping Robertson or TAA for matip out wide ?
That’s a straight lie
And Kieta starts over Thiago Milner Henderson winjaldum ?
No
Jota was bought as a back up to front 3
Vvd and another out of Gomez and Matip for the CB
Rest start that started on the weekend

City had same dramas last year but pep never whinged once
Rolled his sleeves up and nailed 2nd and a few trophy’s too

Klopp on the other hand......

Stop making excuses
Even Liverpool fans are over it
Pundits are over it

That team should be beating most
Especially the Fulham Brighton’s etc you either lost or drew too
No excuses

You said Klopp needs reinforcements and I simply said he was given them. The only issue was CB but no one could've for seen those injuries.

One thing of having niggling injuries but to have 3 CBs out for the year? No way you could've predicted that. No one could've.

Clearly we've got a target for the summer. And the club has shown they'll wait to buy the right player rather than any player

An absolute mess at the back? Don't agree. Think we've handled it pretty well at the back tbh, leaving the City game out. The issue ha been with attack, which is reflected by having to play midfielders in defence.

That’s fair enough, was just stating on the weekend against city you were 2 players from your best 11....

So were they....

Liverpool should still be beating the Brighton’s, Fulham etc with the squad they have
It’s way past injury’s what’s going on there .....

Yet klopp keeps looking for excuses
That’s all I’m saying

But understand your support for klopp

Look the basic fact is that Liverpool have always had the best front 3 to ever play the game available.

No excuses, with the best front 3 ever, they should be outscoring everyone they play.

That's mistaken about Pep not making excuses and simply rolling up his sleeves btw. He complained quite a lot.

The world is fixated on Klopp making excuses. So be it. Hes not here to keep rival fans happy.

I don't agree with everything he's said or done. But find it funny people are banging on about Pep in the way they are.

What are you all smoking? Lol

Peps never complained that the grass is too long or the winds blowing the wrong way or that his squad, which costs 500 times more than smaller teams, was hindered by the small team playing defensively and being hard to break down

2 players? VVD, Gomez, Jota all would've started. Quite possibly keita also. Especially based on this year's form.

Then you have the players who've been shifted out of position. Hendo, Fab, Thiago.

Anyway. Liverpool should've done better. Injuries or not. We should've done better.

Klopp's a master of deflection like Jose. Instead of analysing the performance and players the media focuses on his bizarre excuses.

It's funny how no one remembers Pep complaining. It's like people have an agenda lol.

Remember the time he blamed a cup loss on the balls being the wrong shape?

Lol. Criticise Klopp but people need to stop making shit up about Pep. It's getting ridiculous
