The fact that Klopp has given him the gloves and stated he will be the No1 keeper until seasons end has boosted his confidence.
If it not for his saves in the first half we would not have gone into halftime with a 0-2 lead.

Have a look at our defense this season, now tell me, are you 100% confident we are going to hold them out? I think we will end up scoring more goals, because they’re going to have to go for it in the return leg!!! So a return leg of 5-3, and 10-3 aggregate!
