Bought an amplifier a while back. Dude listed it on gumtree for really, really cheap. $2,000 amp for $100. No one took the bait because no one thought that someone would sell a $2k amp for that cheap. Ended up contacting the bloke saying that I would buy it cash in hand, but we had to meet up. Met him in his new shiney apartment in a rich area that was full of moving boxes, and also very small. Big enough for one person and that's it.

Asked him why he was selling it so cheap. He said, "It was the Mrs. She loved it. When we split, she didn't take it, so fuck her"
