Where as the JAC signing for 500k was aided by fewer options as he specified Sydney only.
At the end of the day,just be happy we have both on our books..

Did we pay slight overs ? maybe but not much if any and it had to be done his signing was a big initial step forward for us, if JAC doesnt give a stuff he is on a bit less and i assume this is so(or he has a fullback incentive/bonus in his contract possibly?)then happy days.
Very happy with the reported price we paid for JAC(i could have lived with 600k odd a year for him too).

Done okay? He's made rep teams. He was a centre coming through. He's going to be a fast, strong, tackle busting centre. A better Jesse Ramien. JAC is better value but we probably don't sign JAC, or at least on that amount, if we didn't have Cotric. That's also potentially the same for a couple of our other signings. We've done really well so far.

We've seen how a couple of gun wingers can transform a team. Look at Parra. Radradra carried them that season and then Sivo both times they made top 4.

They get the team of the front foot in sets and you can build a platform to attack.

Watch Josh Jackson look rejuvenated this 2021 and 2022 when he has some quality players around him.

Yes you need at least 3 quality players in your 1, 6, 7, and 9. BUT, without some decent weaponry up front and out wide your spine is limited. With blokes like Cotric and JAC coming in there is plenty of motivation for the young spine players to figure out when to use the right weapon at the right time. Think of our record setting run of wins and the 04 premiership, when Shifty had a shotgun on one side of him, Utai, who he used a number of times to great effect, and a thinking winger with incredible timing on the other, Hazem, who he combined with many times with kicks to the ingoal.

Flanagan and Burton have been given the weapons, and the Flange especially seems to me to be a thinking halfback who is going to be looking for ways to take advantage of JACs speed and Cotrics tackle breaking. If Avo can make the 1 shirt his, it will add to the attacking options, and JAC and Cotric will need to be in his ear letting him know what they want from him.
