So ... How do we like dem apples ?

Was it simply the 'law of averages' at work ?
Have we been punished by Ye Football Gods for getting too far ahead of ourselves ?

Conspiracy theories, facts, stats and half-baked rants, all welcome.

I guess we are "under the radar" again.

Manly should be favourites tomorrow

When all those odds went onto Canberra..you knew something was going on.

Didn't expect a result like this though. I think we will bounce back next week, just a shame for the dogs fans that travelled to Canberra.

We can go two ways about this.
1) we can totally despair and give up. We can think that 1 loss will end our season and we can turn on the players who have given so much this season and blame individuals and call for their heads

OR

2) we can put tonight behind us and get pumped for next week. Then next Saturday night we turn out in droves to support the team and club we love and hopefully see them bring home the MP.

Des won't give up, the players won't give up so nor should we.

Lets play the blame game, I hate you, more..

But yeah, the whole team was crap tbh not just Wright. We got totally outplayed. Raiders were much more hungrier than us and we just looked lazy and unfocused. Looking at it retrospectively a loss like this was coming as we had been playing fairly poorly by our standards in the past two weeks. I just don't think people expected a blowout game like that

There really isn't an excuse for such a performance, tin foil hat or otherwise.

I'd like to lock in option 1 please Eddy.. that's my final answer.

KILL JONO WRIGHT! If there's any justice in this world, his kid will grow up to be a scumbag Manly fan just to punish that pr*ck.

I want us to remain positive after this

But the thing is we did not need to lose this way so late into the regular season with the SF only 2 weeks away.

I wonder how much Melb is paying for the minor premiership..? If we play the same next week, I reckon my wallet would look pretty fat after putting a 50 on Melb. (If they beat the sharks this week though)

Seeing how wright will become the scapegoat, will he be dropped next week for Goodwin?

I haven't watched it.
I sharnt be watching it.
But here's the little I know of ...

- Jono Wright 3 tries against.
- 5-1 penalty count after 20mins
- 3 tries disallowed by video ref (rightly or wrongly it don't matter)
- Failed to find touch from penalty.
- Barba foot on the line trying to make a break / spark a comeback.

Sounds like whatever could go wrong, did go wrong and then some.

Sometimes you've just gotta laugh these things off ... Kudos Raiders.
We live to fight another week.

Dessie doesnt have a knee jerk reaction when his players play ****.

He persisted with Goodwin for a few more weeks til his injury after he lost us the game against souFFS early this season
