Alamoti to play on his preferred side with Avo to fullback. Okunbor keeps the utility role before Brown. Edwards and Morrin to play dummy half if Mahoney injured. Avo into the halves if Burton or KO injured, Okunbor to play in the backs under that scenario. Burns to play NSW Cup, fitness a concern. Waddell, Reynolds and Pehram all dropped.
 
What happened to Hughes? Was he injured? Didn’t come back on for a second stint. Ran the ball hard at the start though. Good player.

Why do players do that? Don't they feel a deep obligation towards their team mates and doesn't the coach put big responsibilities on guys to be smart about it.

Gus said he was out of the boot last week, so would have to assume about 4 weeks after that, so I would say tentatively Rd 16. More likely to rush back than Kiks as he needs a contract.

Only way he would be included into the team I named is if Patolo hasn't improved on last year. Everyone else has earned their spot this season thus far. Even then he or Patolo would make way for Pele.

Waddle has been much better this year. With the caveat on that being when he plays in the middle. He is a borderline first grader in the middle. On the edge he is a RMC level.

The failure of coaches across the league to really look at certain players in certain positions. Realising when they do well and when they are poorly. Then looking at the role they are playing in those games. There seems to be a lot of skimming over the bigger picture. Waddle is a prime example of this. TPJ is another that should only ever play middle.

This is why you and I were saying don't re-sign him. It's only a matter of time before he reverts back to his old form and issues in his game. Never get fooled by a contract year player when they've been ordinary for every season before that..

We should be happy if he can string a few games together first before we start expecting anything from him. He's had so many issues with concussions and injuries. We need another big body so hopefully he can contribute and stay healthy, he deserves some luck.
