Not sure if Avo and Naden is good defensively.

Avo next to Fox will help Jake and be good for him.
We can’t afford to play averillo in the centres barring injury. Likely hasn’t trained there at all in the pre-season and defensive reads from centre are hugely important. We don’t have time to experiment in such an important defensive position. Wouldn’t change the Naden and fox edge either, they’ve been strong defensively.

Yeah just replying to previous poster suggesting Avo with Naden. Defensively that would be dodgy.

If Avo back in the team his best spot is next to Fox to help him out defensively.

I dare you TBaz
1 Dufty
2 Burns possible switch with Naden
3 Averillo he offers more than Schoupp
4 Naden
5 JAC
6 Burton
7 Wakeham
8 TPJ
9 Cook hes is the only good hooker in the squad and proved it in 20 minutes trial
10 Vaughan
11 Jackson lessens his workload and could fix the right edge defence
12 Waddell
13 Thompson he would be a good running lock

14 JMK can cover hooker 1/2 5/8 even lock
15 Seumanufagai our best go forward prop off the bench
16 King
17 Topine / Hoffman / Stimpson
Jackson tries really hard but doesn’t appear to have the physical attributes to succeed at NRL level. He has had minimal impact in the Jersey Flegg this year. Don’t know that he will make it. I hope I am wrong

1 try assist and 1 try
Nice. I say we have the 7 here but Trent Barrett is messing things and toying with our team because of losses against good teams playing on his head. He knows his coaching job is on the hot seat and it doesn’t make for great decisions making towards the team that much at all.

All true. With the way the team is selected and the lack of a FG standard 7 and 9 and Barrett's game plan with JJ....It looks like we just have to accept that the team has to go thru all this rubbish and chopping and changing if we don't win.

I know it's crazy but that's our fate atm with Baz.

Hopefully in the long run a lot more becomes clearer, things settle and the roster will no doubt become stronger.

There's more pain ahead.

Agree with a couple of your ideas, but why demote JMK? He’s been one of our best so far this year.

Cook didn’t show much in the trials. Grass ain’t always greener brother.
Not rubbishing JMK at all, it just he doesn't cut it as a hooker for me.
Did you by any chance see Cooks 20 minutes in the trial ?
Now, that's how a hooker should play !

Is Kiraz in the top 30?

We need a specialist winger….Burns and Schoupp swapping mid game was a shambles …or move Naden to right wing and bring in Hoffman

King might be out injured which is a shame I’m sure he would want to play his former club

this has to be the team. the only change i'd make is Cook at 9, but understand Melbourne in Melbourne is probably not the best debut game
