Cant see Averillo being a success at fullback. He has little creativity.
I think a swap might happen with JAC going to fullback and Averillo onto the wing.
At least on the wing he only has to catch the bombs and run like the devil.

We have been waiting for 2 years to see if Avo can make it at FB. With Burton, Schoupp, Kiraz and Alamoti at the club you would think this is the kids only chance to consolidate a spot in the backline.

No changes to style imo but Flanagan was playing on the ball a lot more and at least tried to play straighter and further into the line than he previously has. Basically all our attack came off Dufty though lol

Subtle changes ... Flanagan squaring up has a flow on effect.

A few inside balls (which i love ) and less block plays out the back.

Basically a little more direct, bringing players on to the ball, rather than the sideways rubbish we have dished up for years.

It wasn't a fluke that Jake saw some space for probably the first time in his NRL career.

Teams have had it easy against us, as all they basically had to do was slide. We rarely challenged a defenders inside shoulder. On Sunday we forced the St George defenders to make some decisions.

Now for the goal line defense !
