all those smarties out there...

what are some tax deductions that are either overlooked or not known to ask about..

i am in the building industry..

i have

fuel,
car expenses,depreatiation,rego,tyres ect
washing clothes
sunnies,clothes,shoes,
sunscreen
new computer,office expenses,printer cartrages,electricity.internet ect
tools
magazines (work related)
christmas party costs,,


plus 2 kids aged 4 and 7 plus daycare rebate..

any kid deductions?


add anything hhere,,
not just for my cercemstances..
just add what ever can be deducted..

My mate is an accountant, and from what i can remenber you can claim up to $300 without receipts. HTH

and i use an accountant,,
i will claim last years fees
i am not a contractor(work for company on their premises)..

we have our own cafe at work,,is my lunches deductable?

when i was @ uni they had this Student supplement loan (the deal was you trade in part of ur austudy & the govt matched it) so i traded in like $3000 & got $6000 back * 3 yrs , BUT you have to pay back the $6000+ interest even tho half of it was mine 2 begin with, It screws my tax returns every yr, i get Fuk all back it all goes back to that fkn loan & i still owe $12000 on it & i have been out of uni for fkn 8 yrs, its Bullsiht, Fk You Paul Keating you homo

that makes car expenses harder to claim, unless you do plenty of site-site travel, if you generally work at the same place then you can really claim them because you can't claim home-to-work travel expenses

because i dont have a secure premises i take my tools home daily
