Can't play at all, you just get paid to train with the team and potentially earn a playing contract.

Development contracts are under that rule, train and trials are essentially just preseason bodies playing for a reserve or first grade contract

How can he be playing for a contract in the Top 30 if we are already full? Unless he is simply playing for a reserve contract or we will release Katoa but I thought Burns was the replacement for Katoa?

Ava seumanafagai was on a trail and trial deal and he played for mounties then played so well he got promoted into top 30. Marsters could be promoted to development contract during the season. I think marsters will be on an opportunity contract like turuiah. Burns might be starting if schoupp’s shoulder isnt ok which means marsters will slot into the mounties.
