If Tonga does end up going 2 NQ, we will need a replacement centre.

Cooper has been mentioned, but he doesnt want 2 leave St george, has been there his whole carrer.

What r ur thoughts on Steve Matai, i think he is off contract next year, but he is currently not playing in thier first grade squad...i think he may be coming back from an injury, but they have chosen david vealiki at centre.
Word is he aint 2 happy atm in manly, if he could get a release out of his last year of his contract, he would be an awesome replacement for Tonga. He is still only 23 and a NZ rep.

He would be a very good replacement. Hits hard and has abit of pace. Can be a bit of a **** though.

Regardless, I wouldn't mind having him, he's good

I'd love to have Cooper. Steve Matai is also a promising prospect.

I'd imagine Coops will stay especially now that Benny has just signed on

Jennings would be a great replacement ....Australian junior rep centre , he is a speed machine...and a try scoring freak.

Matai would be like the new Mason at our club tbh.

But f*ck the kid has both talent and experience, i'd have him tbh....

Sign him on! being at the 'Dogs would do wonders for him

Matai has an on going neck injury but is a gun. Jennings IMO is a future SOO star so I'd target him.

Matai not a bad idea, like your thinking Barba

I believe we have some prospects i'd be prepared to let heka and wini have a run and actually be able to keep a few other off contract players for once

I reckon we can get thru this period (this and next) without making a major signing theres no need to. Wouldnt say no to someone like Jennings and Daniel Dumas though

Matai is a bit of a thug, cheap shotter, injury prone and also has an alcohol problem. NO. If it wasn't for his dog hits (that are fun to watch obviously) he'd be unnoticed.

Cooper yes, Jennings yes.

Matai is soft as butter the guy gets injured every time he gets tackled. Hope to never see him in blue and white.
