I can't see the Titans letting go of Campbell, he's not off contract until 2025. I still think they'll play him even with Foran signing.

I have a very similar "don't re-sign" and release list but it's going to be difficult to move on Allan. I'd throw Flanagan in there too but same issue.

Vaughan unlucky to be moved on but I think we need salary cap space (especially if we want another signing or 2). I think it'll be too hard to move Thompson on.

I'd go something like this

1. Averillo
2. JAC
3. Schoupp
4. Alamoti
5. Kiraz
6. Burton
7. BBO
8. Thompson
9. Mahoney
10. King
11. Kikau
12. TPJ
13. Jackson

14. Doorey
15. Sutton
16. Patolo
17. Topine

Transfer Targets
1. Matterson - quality ball playing lock
2. CNK - steel effort experienced fullback

The dream would be Munster and Walsh for 2024 but that's very unlikely.
If they keep Campbell we should make a play for brimson

Burton needs an experienced half alongside him. Sell everything and buy Munster with an early release. We gave those Assholes Reimis without getting anything back m
Needs quality and established 7, we get that things to to change at a rapid speed..!!!

We can't just release Allan unless we pay his full salary. He has another year left on his deal.. If he's moved on, he'd have to agree and the clubs would have to negotiate what percentage of his deal would be paid..
Currently still holding out hope that his origin coach Bennett will pick him up for the Dolphins. They currently only have 3 outside backs signed up with 1st grade experience.
Connelly Lemeulu, Jamayne Isaako & Robert Jennings.
I reckon he will end up there next year even though we may have to contribute some, but the longer they have not enough players the better our chances are of offloading him.

There will be no improvement until 2024 that’s when all these rubbish players have finished there contracts at the end of 2023 and should not be resigned

I reckon this is the way to go. Still not top 4 though, especially with flanno as 7 but at least its a decent fullback, strike centre, ball playing 13, decent edge backrower in Aitken to partner Kikau. Dont think we can afford them all though

  • Release - Allan, JMK
  • Signed - Mahoney, Kikau, Sutton
  • Retire - Jackson
  • Targets - Drinkwater, Farnworth, Aitken, Matterson
  • Promote - Kiraz, Hayward, Toia
Best 17

1 Drinkwater
2 Kiraz
3 Schoupp
4 Farnworth
5 JAC
6 Burton
7 Flannagan
8 Vaughan
9 Mahoney
10 TPJ
11 Kikau
12 Aitken
13 Matterson

14 BBO
15 King
16 Thompson
17 Sutton

Too expensive, and Schoupp and Alamoti are our long term centres. Kiraz another one, but probably on the wing to fit them all in. Fullback, halfback and ball playing lock have to be priorities.

Exactly this. It don’t matter who plays if we were going improve under Barrett it would of happened by now. 1 and half years later we can barely score a try. We are going backwards and judging by this year it doesn’t look like Baz will change or improve anything game wise.

I also think they won’t sack him.

Disagree... I don’t see Schoup as good enough to play in the centres...lacks speed and flair..Alomati...looks good in reserve grade but hasn’t been tested with the big boys...we need another quality centre...how much would Garnworth cost? 35Ok ?

A lot more to get him away from the Broncos and other clubs are also looking at him. With what we have I don't see a world where we make a play for another centre.

Super League is worse than reserve grade.
Disagree ... all these players are better than our current fullback, backrow and lock.
There's plenty of guys from the super league that have come over here and carved up, you just need to find the right ones.

Agree about Schoupp .... think he might make a pretty good backrower though.

Would love Farnsworth.

Of the unsigned id only seek to keep Vaughn at a reasonable price
Id be exploring ways to move on Thompson Burns Naden Flanagan Averillo Seumanufagai Patolo Okunbor Cook JMK

Releasing players/ clubs from contracts needs lots of moving parts to fall into place
Agree with all except Averillo, and maybe Patolo.

Would give both one more chance.

Still can't forget how Averillo ripped up reserve grade as a kid when first promoted. His whole career has been rushed.

He has talent, but is totally devoid of confidence at present.

I'd keep patolo and seumanufagai on minimum wages
