Yeah but the rules state
Lead runner has to go thru the line and not stop in it
Runner can’t not make contact with inside shoulder of defender trying to defend
Defender has to have a chance of defending without being impacted by decoy runner

Never passed one of those on the list
No try according to nrl rules

This is the problem and I know that we will get a call against us that costs us because suddenly it will revert back to a black and white rule

Yes by all the metrics Reed was obstructed by Fonua Blake.
As Graeme Hughes said yesterday on Talkin Sport, would the ref and bunker made the same call if that game was at Belmore?
There's unconscious bias and maybe a bit of a square up entered the mind of the video ref after he made the call on Kikau tackle/strip.
To my mind the Kikau tackle/strip wax a 50/50 call. The Johnson no try was a clear obstruction.
What Gould thinks on this is irrelevent. He's been blowing up against the obstruction rule for 10 years. He has no credibility on this.
That call cost us the game and would of saved Flanno from the usual pile on he cops after every loss.

I think it was a square up for the Kikau strip.

Everyone thats not a Bulldogs fan doesn't have an issue with it. But you can bet your life if it happened to their team they would cry foul.
