Just won't happen. Sharks will never relocate. Rebecca Wilson needs to hand in her journo license for writing up yet another article of dribble.

I think the public forgive them, it wasn't performance enhancing steroids and they put on a good show for us this year, ASADA seem to be living in the past and the horse has bolted.
There is no reason they should be forced from the Shire, what a load of crap.

The logical move would be to absorb the sharks into St George Illawarra, making one powerhouse southern Sydney team.
While theyre at it, they should amalgamate roosters and souths.
There is too many teams in sydney. Crowd figures are very poor for some teams

The Southern Sydney Steel Dragon Sharks. Can't see it happening.
I thought the crowds were ok for all of those teams though.
Manly don't attract crowds, I hope they kick them out :grinning:

Googled this:

Average home crowds 2013

1. Brisbane Broncos: 30,480
2. South Sydney Rabbitohs: 22,261
3. Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs: 19,590
4. Sydney Roosters: 19,368
5. Newcastle Knights: 18,821
6. Melbourne Storm: 16,302
7. New Zealand Warriors: 16,197
8. North Queensland Cowboys: 14,112
9. Gold Coast Titans: 14,028
10. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles: 13,522
11. Cronulla Sutherland Sharks: 13,470
12. Parramatta Eels: 12,456
13. St George-Illawarra Dragons: 12,422
14. Wests Tigers: 11,452
15. Penrith Panthers: 10,337
16. Canberra Raiders: 10,226

Roosters were strong this year but they wouldve been skewed by a couple of large games. i.e dogs, souths where most of the supporters werent theres anyway.

You could probably make a strong case for penrith to be shown the door.

Yeah and Canberra is pretty poor. You can't blame tigers, dragons & eels fans for not showing up.
Cronulla is impressive considering all of their dramas.
Manly are a joke. Good to see we are one of the three Sydney clubs with decent crowds

If they were on the juice, I don't forgive them and what do you mean it wasn't performance enhancing? I would wait for ASADA findings to be tabled before coming to that conclusion.

Peptides are most certainly performance enhancing. Suggesting otherwise is a very strange thing to say.

I think he meant they're not steroids. But they definitely enhance performance and I'm given to understand also aid in recovery. As far as I'm concerned, the club is responsible if they provided them, but any player who continued to use them of their own volition, after the club had stopped the program, should be harshly dealt with.

Realistically I think the sharks should be absorbed by the dragons to create a Southern Sydney team
Parra, penrith and tigers should join forces as an outer western Sydney team,
Manly should go back to Central coast and call it what ever will appease the gronks on the central coast, souths and roosters should become the Sydney civic team
Bulldogs remain as a mid Sydney team
Keep the raiders
Keep warriors
Keep all the qld teams,
Add another Brisbane team,
Add central coast Queensland team
Keep storm
Keep knights in Newcastle
And add a Perth team

If I am correct that's a 14 team comp

4 Sydney teams
1 ACT team
1 Melbourne team
1 NZ team
5 QLD teams
1 central coast team
1 Newcastle hunter team
All teams would get huge support and big crowds means stronger clubs
It's time to move forward and not live in the past
Just my opinion

For a top 4 team that's pathetic.
