Lets just say that the Dogs had a chance to sign one of the greatest coaches of all-time in Wayne Bennett under the proviso we had to have Graeme Hughes as CEO.

I don't think Wayne would be pushing Graeme's barrow.

End of Discussion.

No way...

I'd rather take Folkes...

Atleast the new CEO wouldn't be so influenced as to resign useless crap like Corey Hughes and Cameron Phelps

I can just picture it when Hughes becomes CEO:

Corey Hughes signs a 5 year 2 million dollar deal.
Steven Hughes comes out of retirement and signs a 2 year undisclosed deal
Glen Hughes signs on as coach :p

lol yeah it would not surprise me. And i think bennett is over the hill, hes had rosters chock full of rep stars for a few years now, i dont know what he could do with a team undergoing a rebuilding phase anyway

I wouldn't be surprised one bit if Steven Hughes makes his return in our NSW Cup side if Graeme is CEO, and Corey gets an contract extension, what did they say.. family first... ;)

Nope, I wouldn't agree with that scenario... it's just not a smart one IMO.

Steven hughes was the better out of the three - too bad his knees were shot. (apparently)

IMO the damage which would be done by G. Hughes would far outway the benefits the WB has over Folkes
