Opinion Samuel Hughes - the forgotten man in our top 30

Seen very, very little about this guy in the preseason. I know he is listed as having a back injury for the first 4 weeks, but it's odd how invisible he is our media. I don't think I've seen him play that I remember. Is he any good?

I haven't seen or heard anything either, all i know is he is a big lump about 6 foot 4 and 110kgs. Nothing about how he plays though

So thats who that is. Ive noticed him in the few kennel episodes here and there. I always thought "didnt we get rid of the plodder Corey Allan? Why is he still there"

Big bod. Havent seen his style though.. Has good leg speed though.

Has had a lot of injuries, coupled with lockdown has seen very little footy over the last three years. Started well in flegg last year, was dominant in flegg games through the middle ended up playing a few minutes in nsw cup in between injuries.. was at parra n previously in sharkies jun system

My recollection from last season was Sam Hughes only played short stints. Imposing but very green.
The other interesting young talent is Zac Montgomery.
Gus will roll out a couple of shiny new front rowers off the production line next year or 2025.

the covid lockdowns had significant effect on opportunities development of players his age. Time will tell.

Big and aggressive - very raw talent. Due to injury he has been flying under the radar.
