One of my favourite players. He showed signs of his greatness in the finals series.

Whatch him be at his elite best after a full off season.

If we can add Thompson and May as our front rowers in rotation with King, Hughes and Tupouniua, and an already elite second row, we are set.
We can't get both you wouldn't think. I guess you'd like to think we can land one and then hope one of Amone and Sulika-Fifita comes good. You've got Patolo and Sutton playing for their futures as well. Then you're looking for Todd, Hopoi and Underhill to push for spots in 2026/27.

I think Patolo signed with Manly

interesting but don't think the fact he was a Dogs fan will influence his decision. He will do what's best financially and professionally. Surely if it came to between us and the eels we are more attractable assuming the money on offer is not significantly different.
It can’t hurt

They were talking about it on SEN today. They reckon

1. Paps
2. Kiraz
3. Critta
4. Xerri
5. Tracey

Called it a premiership winning backline.
2025 > 2026
1. Tracey > +Papenhuyzen
2. Montoya > Tracey
3. Xerri
4. Crichton
5. Kiraz
6. Burton
7. +Hunt
8. +May
9. Mahoney
10. King
11. Kikau
12. Preston
13. Mann

14. Tupouniua
15. Curran
16. Amone
17. Salmon

GF winning team (I wouldn't have Salmon but teachers pet, etc.)

Maybe Mann getting a bit old for his position but we also have some good young middles coming through.

Only Gus knows, but we can dream. If we can stretch the coin we have (including JAC) on two young beast mode props and Paps it feels like the right move and I reckon also solves the halfback issue in a way, Sexton would thrive in that lineup until Woods is ready.

how is he injury prone?

the knee and ankle injuries were freak accidents.
but he still got injured regardless of the accidents, I dont mind if we get him but just worried as we wont have fb backups

Tracey can go back to fb or we'll have someone coming through the lower grades as a back up

I think if we get paps tracey will go elsewhere, just like the rest of them wanting to seek first grade

100% agree. Give may Jacs coin.

Use the cap space we have free for paps (reported already 700k so find another 200k easily enough for 26 I’m sure)

Sutton’s $ and some to Thompson for 26. Sorted!

Im also not sure why we are talking about changing spine players. I think our spine is set, just needs more time together to peak, but was decent this year. Also seem to have good depth in the backs. If we are to chase anyone get what we need most, and thats more depth in the forwards. Another Mann type wouldnt hurt either, we missed him when he got injured. Just a bit of toughening up, up front and i think we are golden. Glad we have Curran and Preston but need a few more imo, for the bench
