Good read.

Hodko has really stepped up since he spoke out. Good to see he has backed up with words.

I'm seeing their relationship and confidence in directing the team growing more and more each week also. They very well can take it all the way.

Awesome article, we've all been waiting for Hokko to match Reynolds and for them to click - looks like this is the year and with that, anything is possible.

IMO, there's only one 'great' halves combo in the NRL and that's Foran/Cherry-Evans.

Reynolds/Hodkinson have the potential to be great but the key is consistency.

This is Hodkos first year where he had a preseason without surgery since he joined. It shows too

On another note, how can this guy be credited for this article when the whole thing is a quote?

Sorry, Storm aren't a top side??

Hodko/Reynolds completely outplayed Cronk.
Perrett completely outplayed Slater.
They were without smith and their squad is much weaker then it has been over the years, they also have a rookie 5/8, Anybody who knows their league knows how much smith brings to a side, Prob the best hooker in history, Best player in the game atm and has been for a while imo.

When melb lose 1 of their big 3 they suck, If hodko and reynolds can produce the goods and not go mia against the roosters this week that will be something to write about.

They still have an issue where they can go into complete hiding when times get tough in a game... especially Hodkinson. Real test is this week against Maloney\Pearce.

I thought Hodkinson had a few good games last season, one that springs to mind is against Manly at Brookie..

But yeh, will be interesting to see how they go this week, and if we can break down the roosters defence..

His kicking game last week was insane, long and short, hopefully he can keep it going.

Things are different now then they have been in the past.
Our halves are starting to believe in them selves and its starting to pay dividends.
They are only getting better every week.
i know Smith was a big big lose for the Storm and that we got lucky there but we didn't just scrape home, we came from 10 behind and scored 40 which shows when we concentrate we can be lethal, and we also kept them scoreless in the 2nd half. Remember we were also without some of our regulars who normally make up our strongest possible combinations along with Lafai in his first game back. We have loads of improvement in us and that improvement is being chipped away each week. Bring on the Roosters, so confident in this one and I'm sure we will beat them as long as we keep it up.
