I call it the Laurie Daley tactic. It's worked perfectly for NSW the last 10 origin series.

We have no one i would comfortably say i would be happy to replace our current halves. And that says alot because both our halves are near the worst in the comp.... whether it be playing structure or whatever, its very disappointing....

We are paying 750k to a half who should probably be a centre. And we persist with reynolds who is nsw cup

He will probably be suspended due to his history for tripping, but I agree. He did get a hand to the player albeit very lightly.

Fact is we win by less than a try and even if you want to bag Reynolds for it, it's a pretty fair bet that had he not made that attempt, we lose by 1-3 points.
