No it’s not. Have you seen the size of this young fella, he gave us big problems in the trials. He’s good
6ft+ & 116kgs means sweet FA if there’s a combined 300kgs coming in with intent… but if Reed Mahoney is leading our defensive line like the little warrior always does, our middles and backrow should be taken to the woodshed.

Needed that extra size on the bench plus Kitone played against this sharks team held his own and will know what to expect from their pack

good adjustment from Ciro
Good adjustment if he plays more than 5 minutes per half. But knowing Ciro he’ll play him once we’re already been cooked and the match is probably already over. Edit: never mind just checked the stats and Morrin played 25 minutes last game so I’ll expect around that many for Kitione this week. Perhaps Hughes should start too.

Sharks rule out a massive **** in Royce Hunt only to replace him with someone even bigger.

I think it’s pretty obvious how they’ll go through us. Their bench props changed the momentum of last week against a pack that was dominant so yeeeeaaa.

Might be a long night unfortunately.

We are right up against it against the sharts hoping we don’t let it blow out or pick up any injuries.

Gotta have a game plan here it’s a game like this you have to throw a curve ball that’s where more experience in a coach is beneficial huge test for CC. Cronulla have an intimidating middle only way to restrict such is composure on the ball less wastefulness and in doing so maintain a fair share of the footy. We have a tendency of allowing teams to find their rhythm, Cronulla are a confidence side they will capitalise on our errors and Hynes will have it on a string. They’re a mid table side I rate Parra above them Hunt and Uele out our biggest enemy is ourselves end of the day.

Burton’s long kicking game is going to play a major part in this game, we need to move their big boys around and complete at a high rate…. Big fan of the 3rd or 4th tackle kick down field, this will burn some energy from their middles tracking back for a hit up or forces they’re backline to take most of the hit ups (either way, better than a fresh 115kg giant rolling up the guts).

Yeah if he sticks with the bomb we’re fucked, the few times I have seen him place kick for field position he has nailed it. They are going to front load the first 20/ 30 mins of this game to break us early through the middle our only chance of containing that is if he kicks long, early, and often

Not gonna lie. Hoping we can hold them to 20 and we just don’t get just absolutely arse kicked

at the same time, I kinda want that to happen because Ciro needs a massive wake up call
