Ward was taken off for Skelton but he only came back on for Burns HIA. I think Ciraldo could see his defence wasn’t up to scratch.

However, I’m not going to write him off as a one-game player yet. He needs to work on speed and defence but he hasn’t even had a pre-season with us yet. I think he purely debuted tonight because we needed an actual centre. He should return back to reserve grade and if he works hard and works on his weaknesses, I have faith he can do a job for us if called upon.

But really the ref swung momentum when Tallis Duncan wasn't penalised for being Infront of Ilias and inside 10m when he helped force Kiraz in goal. We kick short Skelton loses the ball and Souths score, when we should be kicking for touch rolling upfield.

Our attack is literally completely different. I love how sexton changed our attack so well, unreal effort by him, in attack and defence.
