I agree with picking Flanno on the bench this week and rotate him with Mahoney but not for the reason of giving him a break.

His performance was shocking last week and there needs to be some accountability. The cross field kick on the 4th tackle when we had no ball was inexcusable. So was the 3rd tackle kick out of our end after we had been defending our line for the past 3 sets.

Effort alone shouldnt guarantee you 80 minutes every week. Flanno has been going ok in reserve grade and deserves a shot. Hopefully it will send a message that not even the captain's spot is safe.

Also its comedy gold watching Flanno trying to kick 40/20's out of dummy half.

Reeds 3 early in the set kicks were made all the more painful cos the rest of his team had no idea what he was doing so the chase was shit and we gifted knights possession and position
