Why didn’t we take the kick when we were awarded the penalty in the last few mins? We needed to score twice so at least we would have got some points that gave us a chance. I know it was a tiny chance but still better then nothing.

Yeah a lot of people were yelling that out at the ground
I know it doesn’t mean nothing but still should be smarter than that.
Coach gave up a chance to win even if it was slim, disappointing

DWZ didn't add the usual spark down back, gotta keep him supporting and it wouldn't hurt our halves to kick to the wings occasionally, keep up the tweaks we got this next year too.

You lost me at "sharing wisdom"

If you think it's wisdom your sharing, then those drugs really have done some serious irreparable damage
Sharing negativity constantly for something you like will quickly turn what you like into something you hate. Thats wisdom. So come gameday how do you feel?...if Dogs lose how do you feel? Mad/angry/wanna sack the coach?Run for the Board so you can do something about it then.

I think the majority of us are just numb and over it tbh. Nothing will change until pay fucks off.

Tbh the trick is to expect us to lose by 40 every game, so it's not as bad when we lose by 38 lol

More to the point why did we not take the easy two points on offer early in the game inside the first twenty minutes? Right in front and down 8-0. Like you say something is better than nothing because we lost the ball in the early part of the tackle count to take any pressure, off. In the end though we were outscored try wise three to two by a team that was worth and paid heaps more than ours.

We had two players on report to their one. I thought that Lewis was taken out on THREE occasions whilst he was in the air after kicking but only one of those was punished with a penalty. Cooper Cronk got away with a blatant escort off the ball but I have come to expect that Mr Clean never does anything wrong.

Had to laugh..Roosters were offside ALL game and had one penalty against them in the 63rd minute then the officials waited until the 71st minute to award the first of two further penalties against them for that infringement. We were never going to beat them but in the last eight minutes when we looked like scoring a few times they gave away four penalties close to their line stopping any momentum. We had heaps of possession in the second half but as usual could not do anything with it. Even in the first half when we had 40% possession we completed at 81% to their 71% but did stuff all with the ball. We are just so bad that it is unbelievable and it is going to be a few long cold winters until we may at least have any sort of worthwhile impact on the competition.

enough of this slow motion crap we honestly play like we r just winding the clock down but we are never in front to do it
Not only from restarts but from general play. No urgency to get to our feet to play the ball quickly..it is so frustrating.

How do I feel after yet another inept display, and pay proving to everyone how crap he is at his job?

I'm well used to it now. Going into games expecting a loss, when the side actually manages to pull something out of their backsides or the opposition doesn't turn up and we jag a win, I'm happy..... Briefly because I know we can't keep it up consistently.

You can use any excuse you want, the fact remains I could coach the side better than that spoon, at least I'd get them motivated to compete

Coaching 101. Haven't got the 1-17 roster required..but...geez coaching the fundamentals would be good.

Poor standards and acceptance of rubbish is ingrained now at the club.

Bizarre.

Agreed although the problem would have been averted if Holland didn’t put himself in a position where he had to throw a panic pass.
No one was set to pass the ball to so he had to tap and go,lack of organising by halves caused that.

Just another example of bringing back the madness, just not in the way we all hoped.

If you didn't know the score, you would have sworn we were in front in that last few minutes and just winding down the clock.

I gotta say watching this game I was so bored. Even when the dogs score I can barely muster a smile.

The roosters looked they they didn’t even want to be out they’re playing against us and they never even got out of 1st gear, just a half hearted training run.

Sad sad sad
