Paul Green has continually signed forwards when he knew Thurston was retiring. They've put too much faith in Morgan who is not a top half.

In my opinion this is where the root of our problems are at the Dogs. We need elite halves to be successful again, build around the halves. Yet we have people criticising Meaney for his lack of size etc. It's about football IQ in those key positions. How big was Thurston? Yet he dominated the game for years on end.

Raiders are firing with Sezer and Wighton who are in good form. They also have a game manager in Hodgson who plays like a half at times.

I think Brenko might have played one or two games prior to today but I’m not 100% sure.

The Storm will roll them I’m sure. Throw in Bryce Cartwright with those centres and there’s plenty of weaknesses in defence to exploit.
