Round 17 Team Announcement
29/06/2010 3:30:43 PM
Hooker Joel Romelo has been selected in place of NSW State of Origin representative Michael Ennis in an otherwise unchanged Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs side to play the Cronulla Sharks on Saturday night at Bluetongue Stadium.
Bulldogs head coach Kevin Moore has stuck with the side that triumphed 18-10 over Canberra on Monday night, including winger Steve Turner who remains in doubt after suffering an elbow injury against the Raiders.
Turner is awaiting results of scans on the injury, with a decision on his availability to be made later in the week.
“With a short turnaround into the Sharks game continuity is important, particularly given the result down in Canberra,” Moore said.
“I was particularly impressed with the way the team stood tall and stuck together in defence during the second half of the match, and as a result we’ve decided to stick with the players who got the job done.”
