A penalty try and 8 point try are 2 different things

So what's the determination between the two?

Is an 8 ponit try awarded when a foul is committed whilst scoring, whereas a penalty try given where a try would have been scored if not for foul play?

OPTION A: Pay needs to go and take the leadership group with him.

OPTION B: Pay needs to drop himself to assistant and let Georgalis take over for a couple of weeks. Since he likes dropping players all the time it's only fair he drops himself for a week or two.

A 8 point try is if a foul is committed after scoring a try. So say someone drops a elbow or knee into a tryscorer after they grounded the ball it’s a 8 point try. So they get the try and take the conversation from where the try is scored and then get a another conversion from in front.

A penalty try is if there’s a foul that prevents the try from being scored. Like we saw today.

Dogs 10 (2 tries = 1 converted try, 1 unconverted try)

REALITY
Roosters 38 (7 tries = 3 converted tries, 4 non converted tries and 2 penalty goals).
Dogs 12 (2 tries = 2 converted tries)

Was off by only 1 Roosters try, the try conversions, and one Roosters penalty.
