Disappointing game - the scoreboard flattered us.

King and Hughes matched competitively and beaten physically. Strange and Young baptised our right edge. Didn't have the smarts to out think a rushing defence. A lot of poor execution from vets, a lot of costly errors from usually safe hands.

Yep. Said this in another thread last week, he doesn’t actually need to do any yardage runs when we have Kiraz, Critta, Kiraz and Tracey who do that really well. He needs to stay fresh and ready on his wing for when we need him.

To be fair the sideline was an extra defender this game. No team wanted to be within 5m of the sideline which took fox out of the game pretty much.

Granted but he is close to useless getting out of our half. Skelton and Kiraz can and will do the job.

We are definitely fitter this year. Although they scored the Hudson try at the end. I’m pretty sure all players were back on side from the break. Just couldn’t make the tackle at the end…

Definitely not our best game. Idk what’s more frustrating. Having chances to win in a close game and not taking them or getting smashed week in week out.

Been saying this for nearly a decade now, we need a coach, not a mate.

I still have faith in CC but a good coach recognises deficiencies in his team and makes timely adjustments to bring in players that he has specificly trained up. Hopefully this is exactly what he has in mind for Sexton and perhaps Skelton. As the weeks pass, it 'seems' we won't lose anything by giving them their opportunity bc they can't be any less effective than those they might replace.
