THE NRL is set to look into an incident in the tunnel between Roosters officials and referee Ben Cummins moments after yesterday’s explosive ANZAC Day loss to the Dragons.
RLW’s Mole revealed last night that at least one member of the Roosters’ coaching staff fired angry words at Cummins in the tunnel at Allianz Stadium – in direct breach of NRL rules.
RLW has learned that the NRL is now set to interview the match officials to determine exactly what occured.
The Roosters already face a hefty fine from the NRL in the wake of coach Trent Robinson’s angry outburst at Cummins in the press conference.
Robinson inferred that his team cannot win under Cummins and the referee treated his players with disrespect in a sensational aftermath to the narrow loss to the Dragons.
