I think plenty is done about awareness of cancer. Its very tragic and sad news either way, however, don't think it calls for a cup to be played in his name.

How bloody sad..when I was training to be a teacher I did a stint at a Marrickville school where he was a teacher..he brought Des in to talk and hand out trophies to the kids on awards day..he was a much admired and well respected member of staff by other fellow teachers and students..a sad loss, my condolences to the Hasler family.

You won't see the black armbands with the black jersey they see wearing tonight..
