NRL should just ban / refuse to register any deal longer than 12 months.

Would make the player market a far more open place and stop all this media bullshit by player managers (who would also agree with the change as it gives them a yearly cut).

In addition remove all TPAs from the game.

...

Good signing... so much for him heading to ESL.

I'd prefer to see him playing at lock though, because he has the ability to break the line, so why camp him on the left or right. Play him at lock and let him wander the field.

I hate that Tolman is in the team, he is just driving me mad these days with his touches. He reminds me of those old ***** on scooters that hog the entire road and drive at like 2kms.

Playing him a lock would be a poor move, no idea why you would want to move our best hole runner away from his strengths. Jackson is without a doubt the best lock at the club and should have been there since round 1.

Because at the moment he's stuck on one side of the field. Playing him at lock would allow him to expose both sides of the field (along with our fullback).

We don't need him on both sides, we need him on one edge running strong lines all game and building combinations with the players around him. Jackson is far more suited at lock for us.

Great to have him stay on for 1 year
Very smart management
His kicking is already good, just has to be showing improvement next year
In general play
Then the $$$$ will come his way
At 25y of age it is time to make or break

YAY we have a decent goal kicker for another year and when we take penalty goals whilst behind like we did last weekend we are 80 - 90% chance to have at least 2 points and not be beaten to NIL hahaha lol in Pay we trust, great coaching bud !!!

I wish we can pay players per win, that will get them performing.

I'm a fan of shorter deals. Never has a long term deal ever panned out for us.
Its a good deal for both parties... He allows the club to work with the money we have whilst giving him a opportunity to re-negotiate his deal next yr whether that is.

Would have been to sow him up for 2 yrs on a non flattering wage but what do u do..

I don’t get the Lamb support play comparison aye? He supported well in one game (Raiders) otherwise its disrespect to Baa who built his game on support , pushing up constantly
Same here.. If anything Reynolds and Lewis show more comparison to lamb in regards to support play.

One year deal means not many other clubs were chasing him, not because of a lack of potential but cap constraints. Martin probably had no choice.

So to the media "fake news" reporters who said clubs were chasing him stick your sharpened pencils up you arses and report truth and not speculation.

Another fake rumour that you weren't going to re-sign him has been debunked.

Anyone who believes anything in the media these days, particularly about the bulldogs, is kidding themselves.
The media know nothing. It’s all conjecture and hyperbole, designed to get clicks.
