Can't debate with someone who essentially is saying the exact same thing.
I was clarifying that Josh did not admit guilt by not playing as some say and that it was primarily Gus who encouraged Fox to make that decision.
Gus, Adam and the Board liased, presented the 2 alternatives to Josh of where this could go. Decided we can't legally stand him down bc of player contract terms or he needed to stand down.
Josh chose to stand down under Gus' guidance and that is the info presented to the public and what we need to accept. People saying he is guilty bc he decided not to play are off the mark. Our club felt it was best he stand down so they presented the 2 alternatives and Josh agreed that was best bc they all knew what the media frenzy would be like for the rest of the guys.
At all times Gus and the Club had control of what the playing outcome was for Josh. If they wanted him to play. He would be. They didn't think it was appropriate bc they wanted to put the teams preparation for this finals game above any other considerations...at this time till further details or the sample comes back.
