was an article yesterday regarding young brisbane hooker jake turpin being off contract at the end of this season, broncos mave mccullough segaro turpin,
turpin has been killing it in the games hes played this season at hooker and out of position yesterday at halback, hes played in the halves most of his young career, before being trained as a specialist hooker when in the Melbourne storm system,
we need a good hooker we dont need all these forwards the club keeps signing

Nu Brown played out of his skin yesterday and yes I know it was lower grade
Why can’t he be consistent and bring this form every week
Waisted potential talent

I'm sure the club is working on getting the right hooker here. It's just a matter of time in my opinion. A few good prospects are becoming available for next season. It's just a matter of selling the club to them without having to weaken our cap situation too much. On the back of yesterday's signing I have confidence in our recruitment.

Brown is in the same boat as Lichaa where they look like world beaters in CCup but can’t produce it in NRL. The lower standard in CCup suits them perfectly where it’s a slower pace and not the same intercity as first grade.

Turpins parents close family friend is an absolute die hard bulldogs supporter and probably lurks in the kennel, so if you do donny get in Jake's ear.

Broncos will release aging (and starting to get injured more often) McCullough and Segeyaro before Turpin moves.

From memory has been in their system a while and came through their feeder clubs.

Yeh your right there is a big difference playing in the top grade,
He has the physical attributes and shows only glimpses which is a real shame
The guy is light on his feet, steps and fairly strong
It’s up to him to aim up and play skilful every week

Will be next best hooker in the game... Doubt the Gronks would let him go considering they don't have too.

Brown would be best suited to ESL

There’s a thread somewhere that we have a young hooker coming through the grades, Hethringtons boy?

Assuming Donks hold onto Turpine, maybe we could sign McCullough for a stint. Gives us an actual FG hooker for 2-3 yrs and he can teach the youngster the ropes at the same time
