Hopefully Gus can get in Thompsons ear after Nov 1 and convince him he would have a brighter future at Belmore than Newcastle. If the footy gods are on our side, Safiti stays at Newcastle on his massive salary and they release Thompson instead (very very unlikely though)

DSF needs to go on the "raw meat" pre-season diet as well and train the house down in the off season. He had some good moments in NSW Cup and can definitely make the metres but understandably looked severely underdone coming off a major knee injury and no pre season

If he can come out the other side of pre season, fitter and stronger he could fill that role.

Hughes needs to show more aggression and use his size to be more damaging. I think earlier in the season when he was coming off the bench he had more impact

The smokey is Amone. If he can also come through the off season fitter and stronger he could be a gun
