Really liking our defensive structures, looking much more organized compared to last couple seasons. And ofc the attacking structure (Kiraz really made his presence felt and gives 100% every time, don't understand how anyone could be negative about his performances)

Kikau was immense defensively. 77 minutes and he's coming in underdone, he's going to get much better in the coming rounds.

Pele same - 23 minutes and had huge impact. Can't wait till he gets his fitness up and gets more minutes.

Could be as simple as structure is not difficult when the dummy half can get the ball to where is needs to be on time.

Under JMK the ball was always late. And forwards hadcto slow down to catch or defence was alreadybin thier faces.

Yes and are all communicating with one another. We are still a way away but definitely better.
Tgeir heads don’t go down after a dud call either. And there were a few dud calls against us (Ball getting knocked out of Mahoneys hands from offside position, Warbrick knock on, Sutton being dudded for making a great tackle). They just put it behind them and do their jobs. Like it!

Totally agree and really liking the resilience they're showing. A repeat performance next week and we should completely own the Tigpies

Just watched the replay again. There are some key things which are different to last year:
* Blind Freddy see's Preston starting would be better than Brown at Lock and Ciraldo changes it (I fucking love him for that)!
* The second Jacob Kiraz try was great but it was the ball from Reed to get it out to Averillo, would never have been done by JMK. Yes JMK could barge over from dummy half but he could just as likely throw it to glue hands Waddle for another nothing settler to ruin the momentum.
* So good to see all those lazy fuckers from the first game really try to get themselves into the match (Burto, Kikau, even Foxx) Loved that!
* I know it's only one game and Storm had outs, but this is genuinely the first time in so many years when we actually COULD make the 8.
* If we can win vs the Tigers (who have a much improved squad, so we can't take them lightly, Douihi/Api etc are dangerous) we could then definitely jag a win through that tough 3 game stretch. Then the boys will REALLY have belief. Such a MASSIVE game at belmore. LETS FKN TROT BOIZ!!!

Hard as steel, cat couldn’t scratch it. Also a filthy hangover from the extra celebrations while watching the replay straight after but these headaches are the best kind.

I think nobody felt the hangover this morning. Nice to be back in the mix.
In Melbourne makes it even better.

Must say what a big win tbh it’s a win u can build a season on that first half is the standard we must play that way consistently if we can manage to replicate that style then playoffs here we come !

Great feeling ppl we are on the board for 2023..and SO much improvement left..
Sutton was huge..workrate..tackling technique..Preston wow what a young gun..new jacko/finucaine..kiraz..FB could b his better spot..alamoti real prospect..his defence was better..capt was keeping check on grant
