A star player needs to be consistent and be able to lead his team to victories while Johnson has never put 5 good games together. Sure his got a step and pace but other then that what does he do. Bad kicking game, Makes a lot of errors, his passing game is average, his bad defensively.

He's not in the same bracket as the stars of the game, Thurston, Cronk, Smith, Tedesco are stars Johnson is not.

Wasn't he the player of the series in one of the 4 nations comps and a golden boot winner? Seems as though there must be some consistency there. He looks inconsistent because of the inconsistent performance of the players around him. He creates opportunities but they blow it way too often (and hopefully tomorrow night!)

In a place like Dunedin, you would be thankful for the roof, especially in the middle of winter.

Tbh I think that the Warriors team is so overrated:

1. RTS (Class player)
2. Vatuvei (Past it, bad under the high ball, makes some bad defence reads)
3. Fusitu'a (Good player)
4. Kata (Can't pass to save his life)
5. Maumalo (Can't catch, bad defensively but good at bringing the ball back)
6. Hingano (Potential to be a star)
7. Johnson (Would be a star 5/8 in my opinion with a experienced controlling halfback)
8. Vete (Decent player, nothing special)
9. Luke (Past it big time)
10. Lillyman (Past it but still does a decent job)
11. Thompson (Good player)
12. Hoffman (Past it but still can do a job)
13. Mannering (Good player)

So really there only real star is RTS and other then that they have a great player in Johnson and a couple of good players in Luke, Fusitu'a and Mannering. But there not at the level everyone makes them out to be.

Kata shits on any of our backline players.
And they won't have to worry about any "high bombs" will they.

Kata is overrated. Sure he can run over his opponent once or twice every couple of games and his good when in open space but the guy bombs atleast 1 try every game because he fails to pass to his open winger, he makes alot of poor reads in defence because he tries to rush up and put on a big hit on his opposition, his inconsistent. So yea he might be a above average player but he is way overhyped because of people just watching his highlights on youtube.

What's the rule if it does, maybe Reynolds can exploit it like he did when he kicked the ball against the referee! Hahahaha... I love how they changed the rule to make it the refs discretion! Does anyone know how many rules have been changed because of the Bulldogs??

Im sure some were changed after our 2012 season.
