Can we consolidate our best questions for Des?

Here are questions I would want answers to: -

Are you disappointed that key spine players have not developed and gelled in their roles? Like Lichaa and Mbye?
How did you try to get Kasino disciplined so he can realise more of his potential and play more minutes? And why do you think it failed?
How do you address poor discipline from individual players?
What skills training and mentoring have been applied to help Mbye develop his game and why do you think he is not responding?
Why is our kicking game consistently poor? What is the repeat set statistics for our club compared to the rest of the competition?
What are the top 5 things you are doing differently to change the lack lustre performances of the team?
Have you lost confidence in this year being a finals year for us? What reasons are you using to maintain your confidence?
Do you think attitude is contributing to incompetence for many of the players?

What questions would you ask? And can members of the kennel take the best questions that represent our core concerns for the past couple of years to that meeting?

Ask Des - "Isn't it the role of a coach to IMPROVE the game of every player ?
If so then why under your coaching did Tony Williams fail to live up to the form he displayed at Manly while at the Dogs for 4 years. Did you take any action to rectify this - to adjust his game like you did when he was at Manly by going right back to the fundamentals like catching and passing, stance, running style etc ?
Why does Will Hopoate fail to play as well as he did under you at Manly.
Why does Michael Lichaa play poor under you when he was a junior star capable of scoring 3 tries a match (in Holden Cup game against the Dogs just before we signed him)
Why does Moses Mbye play worse under you ? He used to be capable of creating 3 tries a game before he was coached by you (Bulldogs trial game 2014 I think)
Why is Moses still incapable of decent attacking kicks, decent goalkicking skills, cut out passes etc - why does he not practice these enough ? Can we not afford a dedicated coach to teach these skills because of your salary or does he not have the time because your emphasis is on lifting weights and video sessions, etc ?
Why does Matt Frawley now play worse that when he first came into first grade (anything to do with your structures)
Why does Adam Elliott no longer score tries from running good lines (anything to do with your structures)
Why did you piss off Shaun Lane for poor attitude reportedly when Tony Williams was repeatedly selected for first grade despite stats like 5 runs and 9 tackles in 80 minutes, and Kas and Eastwood repeatedly selected despite being way overweight and unfit.
Have you lost the dressing room ? Why do even your half time sprays fail to motivate our players to perform. Remember in the semi against the Panthers last year. We were leading at half-time, the Channel 9 cameras showed you giving it to the players in the sheds at half time (prompting even the commentators to make comment) but in the second half our team collapsed.
Are you just with the Dogs for a paid holiday and to receive millions of dollars compensation / pay-back for that grand final loss to the Dogs as a Manly player in 1995 ?
Seems funny that the only 2 sides who have thrashed us this year (Manly and Penrith) were both teams you played for ????
Under you the Dogs are particularly poor performers at Belmore Oval. Are you trying to piss off Dogs supporters as much as possible ?
What did your mate Noel Cleal do for 5 years besides eat meat pies at games. Our juniors became so shit under him. He never signed anyone of note although there was a big headline about him as "the master recruiter" at the time signing Kerrod Holland. Wow he was centre of the year in the reserve grade team that year - I could have spotted him and sorry he's an average first grader at best who doesn't practice his goalkicking enough either obviously.
What's with the stats. How about looking at the ONLY stat that really means shit like the fact we have won what 5 of our last 17 games isn't it - and we would have lost 3 more if Frawley hadn't come in fresh at the start not playing to your restrictive dumb **** structures.
Why are you incapable of change or seeing the need for change. Do you actually have Aspergers ? If so, please take your pension retirement fund and hand over the reigns to someone else.

Cant go myself but hopefully a few questions get asked in regards for next year. Will the style of football be changed to suit how foran plays? How will the front row be shuffled in order to accomodate woods? Was faamanu brown signed to play first grade? Is hoppa seen as the long term fullback? Hopefully people use tuesday to ask some decent questions because des isnt getting the sack

Currently the Bulldogs have 17,251 members, if the current members alone kicked in $115 each, or 24 X monthly direct debits of $4.79 per member, we can pay out his contract for 2018/2019 (based on $1million/season) and fuck him off forever...as I'm sure the club are not going to be paying it.

Then we support a rebel ticket (hoping this is really being formed), oust Dib and take back our club.

Please justify the continued selection of Kasiano and Eastwood despite their obvious lack of fitness and form.

Please justify the re-signing of Eastwood.

Please justify how you have let Lichaa be a dismal failure for the full length of his contract

Please justify how our attack is so amateurish.

Please advise what sort of attacking training we actually do.

Please advise if the club intends on retaining Graham, Tolman, Woods,and Klemmer. If so, who will be your intended FRF reserve. Was it a mistake to sign Woods?

Hi Des, it's clear there is pressure from a number of groups to have you leave the club, namely former players whom you coached, former club players, fans and the media. Yet you were keen to stay on at the club and extend your term here.
Do you realistically think this club will win a premiership in the period you have contracted yourself to coach this club? If not, then why extend at all?
If so, can you explain the chatter surrounding not only the current performance levels but also the development, recruitment and retention issues because frankly these are problem areas which are looking bleak? If you cannot explain then why extend your contract?
The playing style you have developed and the playing group are considered slow, ineffective, overpaid and undisciplined, is it likely you will change the style or drop players considered senior and give younger players who show a better attitude a crack?
And finally, are the players as individuals and as a group on board with the current playing style?

why for 3 years we've had the worst spine in the league
why in 6 years we've dropped from minor premieres in all grades to stragglers in all grades
why did our players retention and release and acquisition policy have badly failed us
And most importantly
Why have we been playing the worst attacking football style in the league ???

1. Do you agree that the following 4 goals announced by Canterbury in 2015 are directly linked to a head coach's position description;

* Two premierships by 2019

* A top four finish every year in the NRL and NYC (under-20s)

* Top eight finish in the NSW Cup

* A local junior is contracted to the NRL top 25 squad every year

2. Can you talk to each of the above-mentioned goals and demonstrate your performance to date and your plans until 2019
3. Talking to point 1 specifically; Given we have not won a GF in 2015 & 2016, can you reference our current roster and our current game plan and demonstrate how you will deliver 2 premierships in 3 years (including this year)
4. Can you demonstrate how you have altered the current roster throughout 2017, barring injury, to correct the following alarming statistics; The 1st grade squad is averaging 8 points per game in offense., The 1st grade squad has won 5 from the last 17 games, The 1st grade squad has suffered 2 heavy losses in 2017 36-0 & 38-0.
5. Would you agree that the spine of a team is critical to a team's success? Given the above mentioned statistics & disregarding injury can you demonstrate what proactive measures you have taken to reshape the spine or the game-play to turnaround the above mentioned statistics.
6. Would you agree that you have shaped our current roster, our current juniors & been the ultimate decision maker in key recruitment decisions such as T Rex, Lichaa, Mbye & more recently the retention of players like eastwood.
7. In the off season there was a lot of press about the dogs changing their style to score more points. Do you believe that the current 8 point average per game would be an appropriate KPI to measure the success or failure of the changes you imposed?

I think old mumbles will ramble on a tangent and not answer anything anyway.

For Ray Dud I would simply ask a yes or no question. Was Des signed in the off season (Yes or No). As Board Chairman can you advise why Des was retained for a further 2 years and what KPI's you are using to measure his performance given the statistics quoted above?

Wow I'd pay for you to be there to ask those questions!!
