Still a strong team with those changes, I like how they have added Daly Cherry-Evans on as a utility (incase Thurston injures his groin or to cancel out Reynold's utility effect) and Josh Papalii to add the grunt and physical fight against our front row.

I'm still going for NSW to win us the series on the night but this team seems pretty good and it will be hard for us!

Nice to see Martin Kennedy representing the same state as Greg Inglis and Sam Thaiday...

Surprised that there's no Ben Hannant.

He killed it last night.

Surprised aswell guessing Mal wants more second rowers for a faster QLD team.

Many changes looks like a nervous NSW team after one loss. Still looks very strong I guess it was between DCE and Hannant and the DCE got the nod. Anyways Go Queensland by 7.

Lightning Macqueen over Ben Hannant? That's a surprise to me. No matter how mobile or fast your your pack is, you still need to bend the line. It's not as if Macqueen is a superstar with great footwork and speed.

I would feel hard done by if I was David Shillington and Ashley Harrison , so much for sticking with your players who have served you well over the years, what happened to the QLD staying true to their origin players, why the panic cause you lost one game.

I said Papalii would be an inclusion about 2 weeks ago (on the thursday after the first game)... If you watch Canberra Vs Sharks last year you will see Papalii going toe to toe with Gallen, and getting under his skin so much that Gallen had to ask for the ref's aid...

I expect this to be a very fiery contest...

Not really that much of changes, I think it's introducing the new generation of Maroons...I think this is going to be very ugly for NSW...

It's time for a change... NSW have been playing musical chairs for 8 years... Qld changed 2 players...

Can anyone see DCE getting a run next Wednesday night?

If so, who would he replace....?

Assume no injuries....

No true props on the bench. Shows they've gone for a more mobile forward pack, probably in response to how effective the NSW pack was.

I can't believe they canned shillington when they are struggling for front rowers and they didn't put in bundy???

They can Shillington and bring in DCE when they are being dominated in the forwards. Great work Mal! Papalii is a great inclusion though. He will be involved in some great hit ups and tackles, especially with Gallen.

Wish I was going to be there to watch the blues win.

Seriously why choose DCE and not Hannant, absolute insanity.

Hannant did enough to get a call up, Teo seems to have escaped assault charges but at the end of the day NSW will have too much enthusiasm, QLD seemed disinterested in game 1.

I wouldnt write off qld theyl come out firing at suncorp its going to be epic. But in saying that, NSW's got every opportunity to win this series 3-0 if they can play for 80 minutes
