With Tracey injured, does that increase Xerri's chances of starting round 1?

Marginally. His main obstacle will be game fitness and timing. I’m not of the train of thought that he won’t play round 1 for sure. I agree it’s probably unlikely, but don’t think impossible. Preseason is a long time to get back on the bike sotospeak.

When should we be expecting the weak gutted princess to decide he can rock up to training? Not like he played in the finals for Penrith. Cogger is training with Newy already, where is this ****.
I recon he’ll be the worst signing out of the lot, possibly maybe worse than Poasa. Can see him being banished to reserves and not playing any firsts that much at all

What is Tracey's injury issue man?

I reckon Xerri can be right in the mix for round 1 anyway.
Will be very interesting to see how all the machinations of our backline come together next year.

If Crichton plays fullback, Xerri plays in round 1

Training has been more about strength and fitness... Boys are getting belted but to their credit they're doing very well and upbeat about it.

Last year you would see Reed and Thommo blowing everyone away whilst Pele left languishing at the rear. This year everybody is pretty much on par.

I think we are much fitter than last year.
Based on all the media attention to our tough training, and the club's unapologetic stance on it. The boys would have known a preseason flogging was in the cards.
