With over half of our 2013 playing roster of Islander decent will this be a good thing or not for the club . We all know they are big , fast and full of talent ; but with the NZ Warriors yet to win a nrl premiership - can this model work ?

Only 4 of the 17 that took the field yesterday were of Polynesian descent.

That's maybe actually bad because New Zealander players are always rocks and diamonds but we will see in the next season

My point is , are they the future of our game ? Will we one day see a team dominated by them win a comp ? Are they dominating the numbers in the junior leagues ? They are talented not only in the forwards and are freakish in the backs can kick goals , step , make breaks and smash blokes in tackles .......................

Yes, it will definitely work. As you may know, a lot of polynesian players have a lot of tattoos. Tattoos increase player ability by around 25%.

thats true but minus Goodwin , all the blokes that will miss out on a contract are not Polynesion , good chance we will be able to hang on to our stars

Ah , glad you asked . The Auckland / New Zealand Warriors model is a team dominated by Polynesion players with a couple of Aussies / Pommies to balance the side / make up the numbers . Since 1995 they have qualified for 2 grand finals but won nil . Now location / travel aside my question is could this be the future make up of Canterbury sides in the future ?

There is also talk of one day making the state of origin a tri series by bringing in a Polynesion ' dream team ' to take on nsw and qld but still retaining international football .

to many polynesians in a team i feel can ruin a team, as they are sometimes hot and cold week to week... Having said that the skills they have are freakish...
i dont see that being a problem at canterbury atm as the side is so well coached,and we seem to have such a good mix of different skills and players on the roster ....
