POLL: How confident are you for dogs to play manly at ANZ week 1 of finals?

Title says it all, how confident would you be, if the dogs found the situation to be 1v4 Dogs V Manly at ANZ

And they have the confidence and belief that they can, which is so much more important!

Against Manly its going to be tough. They're big, they're fast and are allowed to get away with thuggery. They're also the defending premiers.

Presuming we get a fair share of the penalties and we are focused and committed we'lll go okay. If we mix speed off the line with aggressive defence plus the forwards use the short passing attack structure it will be Manly on the back foot. The big deal is that we have to fire from the get go, we can't give them a start.

I'll answer this question after our performance against the Roosters.

You have to remember also that Finals football is a whole different ball game. Our team is very new, don't be surprised if you see so many incomplete sets and errors from our boys. Manly have all the experience in the world. You can only hope that our boys will adapt well to the Finals series and continue the form they've been in for the back half of the year.

Manly are the most complete team in the comp. They are strong across the park.

In saying that i would much rather play a team like manly than Souths or Cowboys for e.g.

They are more structured than most teams. Which makes them harder to break down in defense but also makes them less variable in attack.

Provided we can maintain our defense i give us a huge chance against Manly.

The Dogs struggle big time against free flowing attacks that play what they see. As a rule Manly build in attack & wait for their chance. We need to be able to go toe to toe with this style. Which we can.

I think if we play Manly next week a win is critical. They will bash each other. The winner will get a week off to recover, the beaten team will have to front up next week & find it hard to beat whoever they play.

Sick of everyone saying I'd rather play cowboys or rabbitohs then manly. manly worry me blah blah blah. Who cares who we play. We play to our strengths and switch on we will win no matter who it is. Nobody scares me, we've beaten every team in the 8 bar Canberra. We beat Manly at brookie after losing kasiano and Keating in the first half hour. They couldn't beat us with a 2 man advantage. I for one would love to vs manly. Beat those ****s and put them in sudden death. Bring on tonight, fire up dogs!!!

No matter what happens finals time, this year has been a complete success. No one can doubt the progress we've made this year on the field I'll still be as proud if we don't win the GF. That said, do Manly even lift? :boxing: come at us.
